Braeden Mansouri is an associate with the firm’s Land Use Group. Mr. Mansouri focuses his practice on land use and environmental issues, including real estate development, zoning, permitting, and California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) compliance. His practice includes assisting a broad range of private and public sector clients with due diligence review, land use entitlements, permitting, the approval of both affordable and market rate housing developments, and land use litigation. His practice additionally includes election law matters, especially with respect to land use planning initiatives and referenda.

Mr. Mansouri has extensive prior experience working on major development projects with public agencies in California, including past work representing numerous cities and special districts across Northern California. Previously, he clerked at the Office of the Los Angeles City Attorney and served as judicial extern in the Land Law, Environmental, and Natural Resources Divisions at the Office of the California Attorney General in Sacramento.

Mr. Mansouri was previously based in San Francisco. In October 2022, he was elected to a seat on the Advisory Board of the Castro LGBTQ Cultural District in the city’s vibrant Castro District. During his time as a member of the Advisory Board until June 2025, he was also Co-Chair of the Cultural District’s Land Use Committee.
