Stephanie Nation represents residential and commercial real estate developers throughout California in connection with the creation of common interest development projects, including master planned communities, condominium and planned developments, mixed-use projects, age-qualified residential communities, build-to-rent communities, high-rise condominiums and custom lot subdivisions.
Ms. Nation specializes in the preparation of governance and sales documents for compliance with the California Department of Real Estate (DRE), Fannie Mae, FHA, VA, and other federal, state and local government regulatory agencies, including Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&Rs), maintenance and cost-share agreements, license and easement agreements, purchase and sale agreements, and conveyance instruments.
Ms. Nation has extensive experience in the structuring, formation and operation of owners’ associations for common interest developments and regularly advises developers on real property disclosure laws and assists in the preparation of buyer disclosures.
Ms. Nation’s practice also includes general business and real estate transactions, including the acquisition, disposition, leasing and financing of commercial, residential and industrial property and regularly advises developers in pre-acquisition due diligence and title matters for residential and commercial projects.
